Grafik- und MediendesignerIn (Vollzeit)

 

Zu Ihren Aufgaben zählen:

  • Kreative Leitung und Betreuung der Grafik Design Abteilung
  • Grafische Konzeption und Layout von Vorträgen auf Grundlage von Briefings
  • Überprüfung und Mitarbeit beim endgültigen Layout von Wettbewerben
  • Erstellung von Broschüren, Postern und anderen Druckmedien nach vereinbartem Entwurf
  • Sicherstellung der Termin- und Qualitätsvorgaben im Druck
  • Aufbereitung von bildlichem und textlichem Informationsmaterial zu den Projekten
  • Verwaltung und Bearbeitung von Presseanfragen
  • Aufbereitung und Gestaltung von Marketingmaterialien und Präsentationen
  • Betreuung des Archivs
  • Betreuung von Social Media Accounts und der Website

                
Anforderungen:

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Ausbildung im Bereich Grafik- /Mediendesign
  • Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung, vorzugsweise in einem internationalen Architekturumfeld   
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse in digitalen Medien, speziell im Umgang mit Design- und Fotobearbeitungssoftware
  • Kenntnisse in Film Bearbeitung
  • Teamfähige, strukturierte, kreative, eigenverantwortliche Persönlichkeit mit genauer Arbeitsweise
  • Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift (weitere Fremdsprachen von Vorteil)
  • Grundlegende Architekturkenntnisse

Internship

Architecture Intern

COOP HIMMELB(L)AU Vienna is seeking international Architecture students year round for a three to six months internship. The earliest starting date for an internship is September 2016 at the moment.

The Intern Architect will be part of one of our project teams. An assigned team member will mentor the Intern throughout the duration of the internship. The Intern will be supporting the team with project related architectural work. The variety of the tasks is vast, but the major duties include 2D and/or 3D drafting, elaborating physical models and generating (together with in-team specialists) 3D digital models.
Further Qualifications, Skills & Abilities required are:

  • at least three, preferably four years of Architectural Education accomplished or a Bachelor Degree in Architecture, Engineering and/or Urban Studies
  • at least two internships in other studios accomplished
  • proficient computer skills, including AutoCAD, Rhino and the Adobe Masters Suite
  • proficient knowledge in physical model building
  • strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a team

Interior Design Intern

COOP HIMMELB(L)AU Vienna is seeking international Product Design students with a focus on products for interior design  year round for a three-to-six-month internship. At the moment, the earliest starting date for an internship is September of 2016.

The Intern Designer will be part of our product design/interior design department and will work under the assistance of an assigned mentor throughout the duration of the internship. The Intern will be supporting the team with project-related work. The variety of the tasks is vast, but the major duties include concept development, drawing, 3D drawing, elaborating physical models and generating (together with in-team specialists) 3D digital models.
Further Qualifications, Skills & Abilities required are:

  • at least three, preferably four years of design education completed, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design or Interior Design
  • proficient computer skills; including Alias, Rhino and the Adobe Masters Suite
  • proficient knowledge in physical model building
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to work in a team

Spontaneous Applications

Project / Design Architect

COOP HIMMELB(L)AU Vienna is always seeking experienced (5+ years) architects for a number of international building projects. Applications of Architects with extensive experience in Construction Planning and Tender Procedures are considered with priority.

The Architect will have to co-ordinate parts of the internal design team under the guidance of the project leader. Also she/he will have to take responsibility as required for specific areas of the design and project development. Additionally she/he will have to prepare, develop and edit design and construction drawings, models, images, details and tender documents related to the design project. According to the position held in the team, she/he will have to liaise, where appropriate, with consultants and other associated organisations or companies.
Essential qualities to work with COOP HIMMELB(L)AU are good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team and under pressure. Also, a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and commitment to independent, life-long learning will be appreciated. The Architect should have a general understanding of her/his role in the co-ordination and integration of project information and management and should assist with the management of the project and the team. Desired would be the understanding of financial aspects of running a design project on time and budget. We expect the ability to use the following software: AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, MS Project, desired would be Rhino and the Adobe Master Collection.
This job description reflects the core expectations and there will be changes in the emphasis of duties as required from time to time. There is a requirement for the post holder to recognise this and adopt a flexible approach to work.

Further Qualifications, Skills & Abilities required are:

  • Master degree in Architecture, Engineering and/or Urban Studies
  • Strong conceptual, graphic and design talent
  • Experience in other leading international offices or won several prizes and competitions
  • Technical planning knowledge in all phases (Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documentation)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English. German would be an advantage.

Technical Draftsman

COOP HIMMELB(L)AU Vienna is always seeking experienced Technical Draftsmen for a number of international building projects.

The Technical Draftsman responsibly produces drawings for different Planning Phases, but especially Construction Documentation. He/she is able to create bills of quantities (BOQ) and bills of Materials (BOM).

Further Qualifications, Skills & Abilities required are:

  • Degree in Technical Drafting or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years drafting experience preferred
  • Proficient computer skills, including AutoCAD and MS Office
  • High attention to details and results
  • Mechanical and technical skills and knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication and ability to work in a team


Special Education or Experience   

Additionally, we encourage applications of young architects (3+ years) with special education or experience in one or more of the following fields of the architectural profession:

  • BIM
  • 3D / VIZ
  • Physical model building, CNC milling, 2D laser cut
  • Urban Studies
  • Graphic, layout and photography
